Still Out started the same way a lot of questionable financial decisions do — with a new hobby.

My son wanted to start playing golf, so I picked up the game with him. What started as something we could do together quickly became something neither of us expected: a shared passion.

We practiced. We played. We talked about shots we probably should have forgotten. We celebrated the good ones like we were playing on Sunday at Augusta. And somewhere along the way, we started making memories that had very little to do with the scorecard.

I discovered a game I had never really understood before — the strategy, the athleticism, the constant pursuit of getting just a little better, and the humbling reality that a stationary white ball can absolutely ruin your afternoon.

And I loved it.

That passion eventually led to STILL OUT.
